VILLAGE OF SOUTH BEND
Trustees Meeting
June 7, 2006

The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session June 7, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall. Board Members present were: Connie Boldan-Cerveny, James Cerveny, Brad Graham, and Chairman Patrick Cunningham. Absent Dave Mahrt.

The meeting notice was posted at Village Hall, Post Office, & Fuel Depot.

The minutes of the May meeting was read and approved, motion by B. Graham, 2nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye.

Treasurer's report was read. Bills presented for the Road Fund $170.16 OPPD (Street Lights), $74.01 City of Louisville (Street Sign Posts), $36.59 Pat Cunningham (Auger & Bolts), $43.20 Pat Cunningham (Mileage). Bills presented for the General Fund $14.45 OPPD (Town Hall Lights), $19.36 Plattsmouth Journal, $400.00 School Dist. 32 (Liquor License Fees), $36.80 Deb Cunningham (Mileage), $70.00 Deb Cunningham (Administrative Fees), motion to pay the bills by B. Graham, 2nd by C. Cerveny, Vote all Aye. 

Building Permits: Two Story addition at 16125 Middle Island Dr for Brent & Gretchen Herron, motion by B. Graham to accept once letter from South Bend Lakes, Inc. is received, 2 nd by C. Cerveny, Vote all Aye. Garage at 32004 W. Lake Park Dr. for Stanley Martin, motion to approve by B. Graham, 2 nd by J. Cerveny, vote all Aye. New Residential structure at 402 Spruce Street, South Bend for Ann Vest and Ken Lee, motion by B. Graham to approve once the Blue Prints are received and reviewed, 2 nd by C. Cerveny, vote all Aye.

Town Hall:

New Business: Village sent letter to Merchen family on mowing Block 3, Lot 28 & 29. Letter received from Alicia Clements for Firework Stand at 210 Pine Street, motion by C. Cerveny, 2 nd by J. Cerveny to accept, vote all Aye. Motion by B. Graham to appoint Deb Cunningham as Village Liaison, 2 nd by C. Cerveny, vote all Aye. All-Hazards Mitigation Plan Agreement with Department of Natural Resources motion by C. Cerveny to sign and return, 2 nd by B. Graham, Vote all Aye. NIMS Resolution & Completion of all NIMS training motion by C. Cerveny to accept, 2 nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye. Sarpy/Cass Dept. of Health & Wellness: West Nile Virus Prevention Funding motion by B. Graham to send back with request for funding, 2 nd by J. Cerveny, vote all Aye. Lincoln Institute of Land Policy: Free Citizen Planners Resource Kit oked for C. Cerveny to send for this.
