NOTICE OF MEETING:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of South Bend, NE will be held at the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. PLACE: Village Hall, 303 Spruce Street. This meeting is an OPEN meeting. All parties having business to bring before the board, which business requires action at this meeting, shall contact the village Chairperson at least 24 hours in advance of such meeting. An agenda for this meeting, kept continuously current, shall be available for public inspection by contacting the Village Chairperson. Except for those items of an emergency nature, the agenda will not be enlarged later then 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time for this
meeting.

For information please contact the Village Clerk at 402-944-2349, leave a message and your call will be returned in the evening. All sealed bids will need to be sent to the Village Clerk by November 1, 2024 and will be opened and read at the November 6, 2024 regular Village Meeting, 7:00p.m.

Village of South Bend
In compliance with Nebraska Statute 19-1102, the following is a list of village positions and salaries: Village Board Trustee $25.00 per meeting, regular or special, Village Board Chair $40.00 per meeting, Village Clerk/Treasurer $20.00 per hour. Average yearly wage: Trustees $300.00, Chair $480.00, Clerk/Treasurer $720.00.
